So although it wouldn't be right to officially tuck\u00a0the beloved F-word\u00a0into the recipe title, you'll notice some similarities between the two.<\/p>\n<p>Over the last few months,\u00a0I've received a handful of kind requests for more grain-free recipes. Vegan and gluten-free cooking\/baking can\u00a0already a challenge, so when you add grain-free into the mix, things can get a bit prickly. To be honest, even after chilling, it's still not the easiest, but it is absolutely worth the slight fuss. In a total pinch, you <em>can<\/em> form the patties without chilling (you might just have a few choice words for me if you do\u2014you've been warned)!<\/p>\n<p>I've found that the easiest way to form the patties\u00a0is to use a greased two-tablespoon measuring spoon or a two-tablespoon cookie scoop to scoop the dough. The two-tablespoon measuring spoon I have is fairly patty-shaped, so I simply scoop the dough, plop it on the baking sheet, and then gently reshape as needed.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.blissfulbasil.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Mediterranean-Cauliflower-Patties-9852.jpg\"><img class=\"alignnone wp-image-18617 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.blissfulbasil.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Mediterranean-Cauliflower-Patties-9852.jpg\" alt=\"Herbed Cauliflower-Almond Patties | Vegan, Grain-Free, Gluten-Free\" width=\"678\" height=\"1018\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.blissfulbasil.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Mediterranean-Cauliflower-Patties-9852.jpg 678w, https:\/\/www.blissfulbasil.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Mediterranean-Cauliflower-Patties-9852-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 678px) 100vw, 678px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Once the patties are baked, they hold together well and are incredibly moist (\u2190eek, that word), so the slight burden\u00a0of working with a wetter mixture upfront absolutely repays itself in the end.<\/p>\n<p>Plus, look at that golden-orange hue.
